Surah Al-'Asr

Surah Al-'Asr (العصر) is surah 103 of the 114 surahs of the Quran. It has 3 ayahs, was revealed in Mecca (Meccan), and its name means “The Declining Day”.

  1. وَٱلۡعَصۡرِ ۝١

    103:1By time

  2. إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَفِي خُسۡرٍ ۝٢

    103:2Indeed, mankind is in loss

  3. إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ ۝٣

    103:3Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience
