Surah Al-Falaq

Surah Al-Falaq (الفلق) is surah 113 of the 114 surahs of the Quran. It has 5 ayahs, was revealed in Mecca (Meccan), and its name means “The Daybreak”.

  1. قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡفَلَقِ ۝١

    113:1Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak

  2. مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ۝٢

    113:2From the evil of that which He created

  3. وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ۝٣

    113:3And from the evil of darkness when it settles

  4. وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَٰتِ فِي ٱلۡعُقَدِ ۝٤

    113:4And from the evil of the blowers in knots

  5. وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ۝٥

    113:5And from the evil of an envier when he envies
