1. وَيۡلࣱ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةࣲ لُّمَزَةٍ ۝١

   104:1Woe to every scorner and mocker

2. ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالࣰا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ ۝٢

   104:2Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it

3. يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ ۝٣

   104:3He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal

4. كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ ۝٤

   104:4No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher

5. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ ۝٥

   104:5And what can make you know what is the Crusher

6. نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ ۝٦

   104:6It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled

7. ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ ۝٧

   104:7Which mounts directed at the hearts

8. إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةࣱ ۝٨

   104:8Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them

9. فِي عَمَدࣲ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ ۝٩
