Quran Shorts Maker for YouTube

Shorts: vertical and focused

Choose the YouTube Shorts preset (9:16, 1080×1920). Its safe-zone guide shows where YouTube draws the title, channel name and buttons over a Short, so you can keep the ayahs clear of them. As with any Short, a few ayahs work better than a long passage — viewers scroll quickly, and each ayah needs enough time on screen to be read.

YouTube sets its own rules for how long a Short may be. Check them before uploading; Quran MP4 doesn’t limit you to them.

Regular YouTube videos: 16:9

For a full recitation — a whole short surah, or a longer passage — switch the format to 16:9 (1920×1080). The text layout adapts to the wider frame, the surah title stays at the top and the progress bar can run along the bottom. Videos can be up to 10 minutes long per export (a technical limit of the render server).

One timing, two videos

The ayah timing belongs to the project, not to a format. Once the timing is right, export a 16:9 version for your channel and a 9:16 Short of the same recitation without syncing again. If the Short should only contain part of the passage, start a second project with just those ayahs — when the provider has timestamps, the online recitation is cut to the selected ayahs automatically.

Thumbnails and titles

Quran MP4 exports the video only; YouTube lets you choose a frame or upload a thumbnail. A clear title naming the surah and ayahs (for example “Surah Al-Mulk 1–5”) and the reciter helps viewers find what they are looking for.

Respectful presentation

• Keep backgrounds calm; avoid music or effects over the recitation.
• Give credit to the reciter — the editor can show the reciter’s name on the video.
• Only use recordings you have permission to use. Recitations loaded from Quran Foundation are provided by them; your uploads are your responsibility.
